Katie’s Fun-time Cinema!
As some of you may be aware, my “regular gig” is over at City of Films where I do a weekly comic called The City Strip. I became part of the team in 2010 and it’s been a heck of a lot of fun so far, always happy for an excuse to watch more movies and draw more comics.
Today we’re proud to add a new member to our team, Katie Putnam! She’s been a fan of The City Strip since the beginning (that is…awesome, thank you so much Katie!) and we’re super excited that she’s working with us.
Katie has a fantastic vlog (links to follow) so we asked her if she would be interested in doing a special ongoing City of Films vlog. Thus, Katie’s Fun-time Cinema was born!
The first introductory episode premiered today and you should all go check it out!

I’m not sure what she has planned for future episodes but I think it’s a safe bet to say that they’ll be fun…and about movies! WHOA! Plus she’s the only member of City of Films who works in a movie theater so hopefully we’ll get more wacky movie theater stories. Thank you so much Katie, this is awesome and we’re definitely looking forward to more!
